Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park planned

An Eco-friendly Olympic Park building plans were approved on 25th July. The construction will be made using timber to build a 148sqm event venue with a café, offices, toilets and reception area. The location will serve as an event venue and playground with 2,500sqm of open terrain.

Erect Architecture is the company that will carry out the construction, building a solar-panel roof. The project will be partially financed by The London Marathon Charitable Trust already allocated £1m for construction work.

The North Park will open first, in July 2013, the first area to be available to visitors. The South Park will follow, in the early spring of 2014.

A member of the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC), said that the area will gather local people together and make them know the beauty of nature surrounding them. The area is designed specially for the visitors to have a community place to use to their convenience.

A promenade building plan of the so-called Park’s South Plaza is also waiting approval, already submitted for consideration. The 28 acre terrain will constitute of a vast promenade with a labyrinth, music room, and life music performance space.
