Buckingham Palace Attacked Because of Low Wage

Buckingham Palace London

The Queen and the Buckingham Palace were attacked because of the low wage offered to the cleaners working there.

An advertisement published last month which announces Elizabeth II is looking for household employees reveals that the wages offered in Windsor Castle are under the “living wage” recommended for the area of London.

The payment the Queen provides was £6.67 per hour and the campaigners who attacked the Buckingham Palace are fighting for minimal wage of £8.55 per hour in London and £7.45 outside of it.

The campaigners who insist on normal and reasonable payment claim this is giving all employers bad example and it should be changed. Correspondingly, a statement of the Windsor Castle was made that the wage policy will be reviewed.
