Sneakers are among the most popular footwear. We love to walk, and, as we want to enjoy wearing them as long as possible, we should know how to maintain their good look. Any Vans shoe model requires care, so here is how to clean your sneakers.
Vans are some of the most popular types of footwear and teenagers’ favourites. Imagine how dirty they get when you put them on every time you go out. No matter if it rains or snows, they are your faithful companions. Take good care of them. Deep cleaning and other procedures should be carried out. Here is how.
Vans bring you comfort and style, but only when they are spotless. Make yourself noticed and clean your shoes in the right way.
Check the fabric, most vans shoes are made of canvas fabric. But it may be suede though. Make sure you follow the manufacturers advice, check the labels first.
Canvas shoes – use mild laundry detergent to rub the soiled area and then machine wash them. Set the machine on low temperature. Use the wash cycle and then remove them from the machine. Drying your shoes is another crucial procedure. They should be left to air dry. In case you need them now, use a hair dryer. Be careful not to overheat the fabric, as it may get yellowish.
Suede shoes – they are the hardest to maintain. Rub any dirt away, using a dry soft towel. This is the pre-washing treatment. For further deep cleaning, use sponge to rub the stained areas. Use mild detergent, and try to avoid soaking as this will lead to water stains. The trick here is to brush gently. In case you notice any strange marks use a pencil eraser to undo the marks. Brush and never rub.
Take good care of your canvas shoes, brush them, wash them with care, as the world is yours to explore and they will be always with you.« « previous post: Three Important Steps When Moving II | next post: Three Important Steps When Moving III » »
